Secure in case of an accident
Even the most experienced divers face risks such as coral scrapes and marine envenomations. And if a more serious incident like decompression illness occurs, emergency transportation costs and medical treatments costs can add up quickly. These costs are usually incurred e.g. emergency transport, medical treatment and hyperbaric oxygen therapy. As an example, hyperbaric oxygen therapy in a private medical pressure chamber in Phuket costs over 1300 USD per hour and the normal duration of treatment is about 10 hours over several days.
If you do not have permanent diving insurance, you can take out short-term insurance with us for the duration of your holiday diving days. We have chosen Divers Alert Network (DAN) as our insurance partner because of its reliability and comprehensiveness. You can choose the duration of the insurance according to your needs from 1 to 30 days. The DAN insurance we offer covers scuba diving, snorkeling, freediving and Rebreather diving . Insurance is valid in Thailand.

What does the insurance cover?
- Covers the costs of transportation to a hospital or medical facility where appropriate care can be provided.
- Coverage applies only for injuries arising from a diving accident.
- Covers hyperbaric treatments, physicians’ charges, ambulance fees, hospital expenses and other costs associated with a dive accident.
- Coverage applies only for injuries arising from a diving accident.
- Limited total expenditure during lifetime
- Covers the costs of an accidental death or loss of limb or sight up to 365 days after the event of a covered dive accident.
- Coverage applies only for injuries arising from a diving accident.
