The name means red stone in English and it comes from the fact that the dive site is covered with soft corals in different shades of red. The site is a pinnacle with its highest points breaking only 1-2 meters above the surface. During the dive You can search for a small macro life among the corals and follow the huge schools of trevallies hunting around. From time to time, you should also look up or towards the blue sea, so You don't miss the Manta or whale shark gliding past the divers.
The name purple stone perfectly describes this dive site. This ridge is full of the color brilliance of soft coral. There are Manta and whale shark sightings often here. And actually the Mantas are the main reason why people come to dive here. The dive site has a lot of marine life and the diving is certainly not boring in here, even if there is bad luck with Mantas on that particular dive. This is one of INTO’s favorite destinations in the Andaman Sea.
