Most famous wreck in Phuket area. It sank 4.5.1997 when hitting the Anemonereef. Fortunately, all the 561 passengers – including both Thai locals and foreign tourists – were rescued and divers got a new interesting dive site. The wreck has gathered huge schools of fish around it and sometimes it is even difficult to see the wreck itself among the huge amount of fish. Because the shallowest points of the wreck lay at a depth of 18 meters, this site requires an Advanced or Deep Dive certification.
This dive site consists of three pinnacles, two of which are usually explored during a dive. The pinnacles are home to huge barracudas, large schools of fish and lots of macro life.
