The shallow bay at the northern tip of the island is full of beautiful hard coral. There you often come across octopuses, cuttlefishes and turtles. When diving outwards from the bay to the deeper part of the site, you will encounter coral formations with moray eels, school of barracudas and beautiful scenery.
East side of island
As the name suggests, a huge boulder can be found on this dive site. The dive site itself is not limited to a doulder, there is also a shallow reef, deeper sandy bottom, coral formations and large areas of staghorn corals. During the dive here you can come across almost anything between a turtle and a frog fish. You can also find macro life when you stop to watch.
East side of island
There is for sure something to see for everyone at this dive site. The shallow reef offers nice dives for beginners. The sandy bottom at a depth of about 10m is perfect for course exercises, there is no need to worry about accidentally hitting the corals. Of course, even an eagle ray can swim past while You are doing course exercises. The bottom continues deeper up to 60 meters, so technical diving courses are also done here.
East side of island
Also known as the East Coast Bay. The bay further south with its beautiful beaches is usually not the dive site of every day trip boat. You can see beautiful corals, lots of different fish and macro life here. The specialty of this dive site is the occasional Mantas, which is understandable as this dive site is located right next to the famous South Tip.
The Manta Point near Phuket! However, the dive site is challenging due to the strong currents, so experience is needed and this dive site should not be selected to dive here on the first day of the dive holiday. Divers come to see Mantas here, but South Tip has also a lot more to see even if there is bad luck with the Mantas.
West side of island
The dive site consists of several large boulders with canals and swim thrus between them. The dive site is most often dived as a drift dive. You can finish Your dive to a sloping reef that is next to the island. This dive site is beautiful with all its corals, rugged scenery and vibrant marine life. A turtle is also seen often in this area.

This dive site is mainly dived in the winter, as there is often too big waves here in summer for safe diving. The entire dive site is filled with stunning hard coral, providing a home for a huge number of fish and crab species. At its best, we’ve seen eight octopuses here in one dive. Surprising macro animals are also encountered during dives.

The bay is covered with coral throughout. The reef serves as a home for small fish that attract larger predators to the site. If you dive a little out from the island, you will encounter HUGE coral formations whose age can be deduced from hundreds of years, when you know how little hard coral grows in a year.
