The fascinating artificial dive sites

Over time, sunken wrecks of ships, planes, and even cars often form artificial reefs full of life. Different historical stories of the wrecks often create a fascinating environment for diving. You can imagine their previous life above sea level while enjoying the marine life they have gathered around them.

Wreck diving speciality course will take you into this world and teach you to understand how and where You can dive to wrecks.

During this course You will learn:

To understand potential hazards on wrecks and dive there safely
To navigate around and in wrecks
To map wrecks
Techniques to avoid kicking up silt or disturbing the wreck and its inhabitants
Use the lines and reels needed for penetration to guide your passage inside the wreck

If you are interested in visiting inside the wrecks, i.e. penetration, the PADI Wreck speciality course or SSI Advanced Wreck speciality course is for you..

Duration and contents

PADI Wreck Diving and SSI Advanced Wreck Diving

2 days

Theory study, PADI or SSI e-material. (materials in English, translatable to other languages)
Open water dives; total four course dives during two days.
The course has the option of penetrating the wreck on the fourth dive, but it is not mandatory.

SSI Wreck Diving

1 day

Theory study, PADI or SSI e-material. (materials in English, translatable to other languages)
Open water dives; total two course dives during one day.
At SSI, the course is divided into two sections; you can complete the Wreck Diving course during one day, when we go through the basics of wreck diving, or continue the course as an Advanced Wreck Diving course, where on the second day we focus on penetration, i.e. diving inside the wreck.

Schedule

Duration of the day about 7.30-18.00

In the course day we will join the day trip boat where You will develop skills in a real scuba diving environment.

Prerequisites

Minimum 15 year old
Open Water Diver course (completed with any organization)
Good health (No-answers at medical questionnaire or doctor's certificate that You are fit to dive)

To participate in the course, you must have diving insurance. You can also buy insurance through us.
