Entry Level course for young family members.
Could diving be a hobby for the whole family? YES! The PADI Scuba Diver and SSI Basic Diver course is an entry level diving course especially suitable for 10-12 year olds.
From experience, we have found that in the Open Water Diver course there is a bit too much to learn for young divers during a short time, so we recommend the Scuba Diver/Basic Diver course for them. During this course, we will teach diving skills for the younger kids in the most characteristic way for them; through the funny games and plays.
Upon successful completion of the course, the diver is classified to dive to a depth of 12 meters in the company of a diving professional. The Scuba Diver/Basic Diver rating can be easily upgraded to an Open Water Diver rating in 1.5 days when the time is relevant.
2 days
- Theory learning; Video and knowledge reviews in learning materials
- Pool training, total 3 pool session
- During the pool training we will review the theory
- Open water dives; total two course dives
Day 1
- You complete all the theory studies according to your own schedule before the pool training begins.
- The day is spent by the pool in the form of skill exercises.
- Duration of the day about 8-17
Day 2
- The second day we join the day trip boat where You’ll use the skills You learned at the pool in the real scuba diving environment.
- Duration of the day about 7.30-18
- Minimum 10 year old
- Good health (No-answers at medical questionnaire or doctor's certificate that You are fit to dive)
- Read medical questionnaire here
- Swimming skills (tested with a 200 meter swim)
