Less nitrogen - longer dives

Enriched air, or Nitrox as its better known, is air whose nitrogen content has been reduced by adding oxygen to it. It may sound complicated at the beginning, but it is not.

By using Nitrox, you get more minutes for your dives and reduce the risks posed by nitrogen. Its use is especially popular on diving holidays and safaris, where You usually do a lot of dives over several days.

During this course you will learn:

To plan and conduct dives safely using oxygen-enriched air up to a maximum of 40% mixture.
How to manage oxygen exposure.
To analyze the oxygen content of your dive tank.
To use your computer properly while diving with enriched air.

The use of enriched air adds value to your dives, as it allows you to enjoy the underwater nature for a longer time.

Duration and contents

1 Day

Theory study, PADI or SSI e-material. (materials in English, translatable to other languages)
Nitrox video integrated into materials.
Final exam; 50 multiple choice questions
Open water dives; total two course dives and one fundive

1/2 Day; only theory course, without dives

Independent theory learning; review questions from learning material.
Nitrox video integrated into materials.
Final exam; 50 multiple choice questions

Schedule

Dive trip duration about 7.30 - 18.00

In the course day we will join the day trip boat where You will develop skills in a real scuba diving environment.

As a theory study, the duration of the day is about 5-6 hours

The course will be completed in the classroom

Prerequisites

Minimum 12 year old
Open Water Diver course (completed with any organization)
Good health (No-answers at medical questionnaire or doctor's certificate that You are fit to dive)

What do I need with me?

For the course days, all you need is a minimum of a happy mind, a swimsuit, a towel and course materials.
